May 15, Day 1!May 15, Day 1!Highlights: The ice castle and tree fort are both beginning to take shape - 19 huge posts were put up to support the structures. Panels for the sides of the ice castle are also underway, and approximately 1000 boards were routed today! The playground is currently a sea of green posts that will eventually support many of the other, smaller structures that will be going up in the next few days.
Special thanks today to volunteers from the crew of the guided missile cruiser U.S.S. Bunker Hill CG-52 based out of San Diego, California! Several crew members showed up to help, and they will be bringing 48 volunteers on Friday!
